Marketing one's own Jewelry

this is my first post on here and I thought I would share what I am up to right now. I'm on the marketing hunt to get my work out there. It is quite challenging (especially when the computer is not exactly my forte). I have had luck getting into the Des Moines Art Center museum shop recently. Now I have my work in 2AU Limited in Valley Junction, West Des Moines and in Studio 3 Gallery on Ingersoll in Des Moines, as well as the Art Center. My latest venture is to get some of my pieces into the Iowa Artisans Gallery in Iowa City. Wish me luck. Hopefully as I work on getting my name out there more, the sales will start coming in. Keeping my fingers crossed that all of this hard work will pay off.
As far as online advertising that I've done, I've had luck with a site connected to Etsy in getting people to look at my store by running an advertisement on the site for a week. Now I'm going to be running a full page advertisement on www.paperstitch.com from July 26th through August 28th. Hopefully, that will attract lots of new viewers.
I'm also trying out a few art shows locally to see how that goes. So far I've done Market Day Des Moines (www.marketdayiowa.com), an event that is the last Saturday of every month working as an Indie Art Show. I"m going to try to be in Ingersoll Live in August, the Fall Art Market in West Des Moines in September, and Art on the Prairie in Perry Iowa in November. I've actually bought a tent and everthing.
Well I guess that's about it for now, off to make more jewelry.
